    *The Power of Attorney and included Notary Certificate need to be completed and then legalized via either The Apostille procedure or at a Honduran consulate in your home country. The consulate will provide instructions on the procedure; note that costs will be incurred for this.

    **Assignments need to be legalized by The Apostille or nearest Panamanian consulate. The consulate will provide instructions on the procedure; note that costs will be incurred for this. Assignments must be filed within 2 months counted from the filing date.

    ***Translation can be filed late (due within 2 months of filing date, $165 late fee for agent).

  • As Panama is a relatively new PCT member state, only PCT applications with an international filing date after 7 September 2012 can enter the national stage in Panama.

  • If any required documents are not filed at the moment of filing, then late fees will be incurred.
