inovia Launches Foreign Filing Blog
New York, NY · January 20, 2010 · inovia, the leading foreign filing platform, announced today the launch of its foreign filing blog. The foreign filing blog is dedicated to all issues of foreign patent filing, ranging from the PCT process and cost-savings measures, to country-specific issues related to national stage entry.
"We hope the foreign filing blog, which draws on our vast experience handling PCT national stage entries and European validations, will become a valuable online resource for those filing their patents abroad," said David Nelson, CEO of inovia. Jeff Sweetman, an Australian patent attorney, is the key contributor to the foreign filing blog. Sweetman is Head of Professional Services at inovia, having spent the last six years managing its foreign filing operations. Previously, he was Senior Patent Counsel for Silverbrook Research Pty Ltd; he also was a patent attorney with Shelston IP and Spruson & Ferguson in Sydney, and worked with Page, White and Farrer in London.
